Through the years I have displayed my work throughout the United States, in Canada and Europe. I have earned professional awards in juried art competitions in the United States as well as Canada. In the past I have been affiliated with Galleries in Houston, California, New Mexico and New York, where my work was reviewed in the Manhattan Arts Magazine. I was also a featured artist in an article printed in the Houston Chronicle.
I earned a Master of Arts degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dominican College in Houston, Texas. I studied life drawing at the Simi Art Studio in Florence, Italy while attending Gonzaga University's Studies Abroad Program. Teaching experience lead me to Chair the Art Department at Dominican College before it was permanently closed.
I work in various styles with a strong realisitic influence from my studies in Florence. However, that influence only strengthens the technique and design in my abstract work. My second love is photography and computer art. On this website you will see many color photographs. You will also see some of those same photographs in the Art Photo Print Gallery that have been abstracted using computer software.
Thank you for visiting my website. I hope you have enjoyed looking at my work. Please visit again.
